I actually didn’t even remember what the name of the site my blog was on. I think I should win some type of lamo award for that! So, the baby is asleep and I figured I would once again neglect my dirty kitchen and do something somewhat cool because my house is hot. It appears that the AC is broken again, which is kind of ironic because it was broken when we bought the house two years ago, and we paid to have it fixed exactly one year ago. Last year I had the “But Honey, I’m pregnant in the very hot summer!” card to pull. I don’t have it this year. Grrr!
I’m pretty surprised wordpress hasn’t deleted my account it’s been so long! Well, I’m glad they haven’t! And I’m really tired of facebook so ha. I’ll go back to good old fashioned blogging! And my mom and other relatives don’t have access to this, so there! Hope everyone is doing awesome and is nice and cold at their air conditioned desk jobs and is a bit chilly right now. I hope you’re drinking your hot tea when it’s like 100 degrees outside to compensate the fact that you’re probably cold in the nice a.c. office buildings! Anyway, yep, just wanted to say hello to everyone. Also wanted to say thanks a ton for the prayers, God is awesome as always. Prayers were answered, my parents are doing well. I guess the 14 hours of driving over the weekend helped, so that’s good! At least to my knowledge! There isn’t a whole lot of open communication about that sort of thing with kids which I don’t know if that’s a good thing or not, but there is no talk of leaving each other or divorce any more so there is no longer any immediate worry so as far as I am concerned God has softened their hearts which I am very thankful for.
I hope everyone had a good 4th of July weekend. Ours was a bit uneventful. We basically watched fireworks from our car. A bit disappointing, especially as we were planning on doing stuff with family and somehow it was miscommunicated and we showed up and waited and waited and they just didn’t arrive. Oh well. Our options were pretty limited having Hannah with us anyway. We couldn’t do much of anything because fireworks are loud, not to mention scary and dangerous with babies. I am excited for next year, because I plan on having a babysitter secured. Actually, I plan on going to the Rockies game. We went last year and had a BLAST. We bought the cheaper tickets and after the game we went down and actually laid on the field and watched the fireworks from there, and it was so amazing because we could feel every firework go off and we literally got the peices of blown up firework in our faces. Maybe it was a bit too close but it was really fun. I’m ready to do that again. And leave Hannah home. And there she goes, up from nap time. And then off to finish cleaning the kitchen, and then Aaron gets home and we’re off to drop Hannah at Grandma and Grandpa’s for our date, because it’s been many a month since I’ve been anywhere without a cute little baby on my hip. And, I’m going to wear my new dress. And go to a grown up restaurant and not ask for a high chair. Or get the baby out and hold her. Or try feeding her. Or any of that monkey business.=D
